My friend hasn’t received the money: how to check?

Start by checking the transaction status in your history. In some cases, action from the recipient is required.

Check the status of your transfer

Open the Bounce app and go to the History tab.

Find the transaction in question.

Check the recipient’s name, the transfer status, and the estimated fund deposit date.

Possible statuses:

  • Accepted: the recipient has confirmed receipt, and the transfer is being processed by the bank.

  • Funds deposited: the money has been deposited into the recipient’s account.

  • Pending: the recipient has not yet accepted the transfer.

  • Declined / Failed / Cancelled: the transaction was not completed.

Is the recipient’s account set up correctly?

To receive the money, your friend must have linked a bank account to their Bounce account.

If this is not done, the money cannot be deposited.

Is the transaction still in progress?

For bank account transfers, the deposit can take up to 3 business days.

Check the estimated deposit date in the transaction details.

If the issue persists and:

  • The status is “Funds deposited” or “Accepted”, and

  • The estimated deposit date has passed

Then: fill out the claim form available via the support chat at the bottom right of your screen. Our support team will respond quickly.

Special cases / good to know:

The money is never lost: if the transfer fails, it is automatically refunded.

Always double-check the recipient’s details before sending money.

Bounce allows you to make transactions, but you are at all times responsible for the transfers, recipient, and amount you send. Make sure you send and request money from the correct users.
