When can you cancel a transaction?
You can cancel a transfer if:
The recipient has not yet accepted the money.
The transfer is still in “pending” status in your history.
The transfer was not made as part of a group.
Important: if the recipient has enabled automatic deposit, the funds are transferred to them immediately. In this case, you will no longer be able to cancel the transaction.
How to cancel a transfer on Bounce
Go to the My Transactions section of the app.
Tap the transaction you want to cancel.
Select “Cancel transaction.”
Confirm your choice.
That’s it! The transfer will be cancelled right away.
If the transfer has already been accepted
Once accepted, a transfer is final.
Bounce cannot cancel a validated transaction.
We recommend contacting the recipient directly and sending them a refund request in the Bounce app.
What happens if the transaction is declined?
If the recipient declines your transfer, the transaction is automatically cancelled.
You will be notified of the refusal and no money will be debited.
Good to know:
Some people have automatic deposit enabled — be careful before sending.
Always double-check the recipient’s information before confirming a transaction.
Cancellation is not possible if the funds have already been disbursed.
