What should I do if I lose my phone or suspect unauthorized access?

If you lose your device or notice suspicious activity, act fast: contact support and secure your account immediately.

Protecting your account is our top priority. If you lose your phone or suspect unauthorized access, follow these steps right away to secure your Bounce account:

1. Lock your device

If your phone is lost, use a remote location or lock feature (such as Find My iPhone or Find My Device) to prevent anyone from accessing it.

2. Contact our support team immediately

From another device (phone, tablet, or computer), open the Bounce support chatbot via:

  • The official Bounce website: www.bouncepay.ca

  • Another phone with the Bounce app installed

Request a temporary suspension of your account or remote log-out from all devices.

3. How Bounce already protects your account

Even if your phone is lost, your account stays protected through:

  • Biometric authentication: fingerprint or facial recognition (if enabled) is required to log in.

Automatic log-out: after 5 minutes of inactivity, your account closes automatically and requires biometric or PIN authentication to reopen.

4. Secure reconnection

Once our team secures your account, you’ll be able to log back into the Bounce app on your new device. A two-step authentication process will be required for added security.
