Why does “ZumRails” appear on my bank statement for a transfer?

If “ZumRails” appears on your statement, it’s still a Bounce transfer. It’s simply the name of our payment partner.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

When you receive a transfer via Bounce, it is processed by a trusted third-party payment provider called ZumRails.

Depending on your financial institution, the transaction description on your bank statement may show “ZumRails” instead of “Bounce.”

This is completely normal, the transfer most likely came from Bounce and was simply routed through our partner to ensure speed and security.

A reliable and secure partner

ZumRails is a regulated and certified player in the payments sector. It is used by several Canadian financial institutions and complies with banking security standards.

Good to know

This only affects how the transaction is displayed on your bank statement.

In the Bounce app, the transaction is always clearly identified with the sender’s name.
