How to settle a group on Bounce?

Once expenses are added in a group, Bounce automatically calculates who owes what to whom. You can then settle your debts directly in the app without doing the math yourself.

The amounts owed to each group member are calculated in a way that minimizes the number of transfers needed.

Settle expenses in a group

If you owe money, the amount will be shown.

If you are owed money, that will also be displayed.

If you are owed money, tap “Send a reminder.” This will notify your friends to send you a Bounce for the amount owed. If the reimbursement happened outside Bounce, click “Mark as settled.” If you owe money, tap Confirm.

The payment is automatically linked to the group debt, and the balance updates in real time.
